We decided that Once a week, myself, and the sisters that live here wanted to start taking sewing lessons from my mom! She is an excellent seamstress and makes some of the cutest things I have ever seen. She makes dresses for her granddaughters for all of the major holidays and a googleplex of blankets whenever there is a new baby. She is also fixing little holes and rips in clothing and anything else that needs hemmed! I have only ever sewn pillows and blankets, but want to start sewing clothing for my kids! Here are some pictures of our projects. All three of us are pregnant so I think we will all be sewing baby things for the most part!
Sharla and Katie made John Deer Blankets with matching
burp cloth's that turned out so cute!
I made an animal print Boppy with matching burp cloth's.
I have never used a boppy, but I can't wait to try! I hope this helps with
back pain while you are breast feeding!
( sorry if that was too graphic for some of you!)
Isn't our mom the BEST?!!!
I love you mom and I can't wait for our next sewing excursion!!

That sounds like so much fun. I need to learn how to sew better. I did take sewing lessons when I was little but I don't remember too much. Your boppy looks great!
Sooo cute! What would we do if not for our moms? I loved my Boppy- I didn't have one until this last baby and it made such a big difference with my back pain and arm pain! it is really nice at night when I was really tired, it made sure I didn't fall asleep with my baby :) I can't wait to see what baby things you make.
And what fun to have sisters all prego at the same time!
I wish I knew how to sew. Unfortunately I DON'T! Those are such cute things! I can't believe you only have just weeks left. I want to see a picture of your cute prego belly!
How fun to all be prego at the same time! Look at you cute girls!! I don't know much about sewing either... I'm so basic! What did you fill the boppy with??
The boppy pillow is so cute! That's great that your mom is teaching all you guys to sew. My mom is great at sewing too. Can't wait to see your next project.
That looks like a lot of fun. Your mom seems like a very nice person :) I sure wish I knew how to sew.
How fun! The girls in my family got together for a craft today today too. It was pretty fun! I'll have to post pictures of the things we are doing. I love the things you make. It would be nice to know how to make them even as gifts!
I love all of your posts....sorry I haven't checked in awhile, but they are so cute. I loved chandlers invitations, and that girls ponys& piggys website, and you girls with mom. So cute. I miss you
Love ali
Isn't it wonderful to have a mother that sews! I should learn fdorm my mom as well, but mostly I just make her do all of my sewing for me! You are a much better daughter! The boppy is so cute!!!
Did you have a pattern for your boppy or just make it up? Looks so fun. I am jealous!
I can't believe you used the term BREASTfeeding in your blog. It was waaaaaaaaay too graphic for my delicate constitution.
But I do love your sewing projects, (though I thought the John Deere burp cloths were vests at first) and I may have to join you taking sewing lessons from Mom . . .
I love all the goodies you are making! And can't wait for you to teach me! I miss all of you and hope someday to live close to join in the fun!
P.S. The Boppy is the greatest invention since the axe~ handy, reliable, and makes the job easy as pie!! Seriously boogs...I don't know how I never had one until Kennedy!
Hey Hanna, I'm feeling pretty good, my scar is healing up really well. So, I'm WAY jealous. i wish I lived closer to my mom so she could teach me how to sew. I have been wanting to learn for a long time now. Oh, and you will just love your boppy. I just bought one, and I love mine, it really does make it easier on my back.
P.S. I hope you know you will be making me one of those with my next baby! I am in love with zebra print!! For a boy or girl!! So get your gear out, hopefully not to much longer! (fingers crossed)
Hannah...
So I'm a blog stalker... I'll admit it. I saw your blog on Calise's page and thought I'd check in on you. Hope that's okay. Your page is so fun and you have such a cute family. Hope things are going well for you.
