Up and Down

Finley is improving! They found out she has REALLY bad reflex, she is on 2 medications that are working, because she has kept down food starting from last night, all on her own. Chris and Hanna are so excited to see improvements and feel better about what is going on with little Fin. She is fighting off whatever virus has been making these symptoms so strong all on her own, so the doctors are positive of a full recovery. The only down side is whenever they try to take off the Oxygen she stops doing good and struggles to breath on her own. So they for sure will be there for into next week, but things are improving!
Chris and Hanna wanted me to make sure everyone knew how much your prayers and notes and visits have meant to them. They are very grateful for good family and friends. Thank you! Our family too appreciates all you have done for them. Hopefully they will be coming home soon. Finley Upgraded to NICU

Hi all, it's Ali keeping you updated. Finley is doing better! They moved her out of the PICU (which is worse) up to the NICU. She is still on Oxygen and being fed through the tube, but being in NICU is still one step closer to coming home for them. They won't send her home on oxygen because it is all respiratory... All of the infection tests they have taken have come back negative, so that is positive. They took some more tests today and they will get those result back tomorrow. Finley in not happy right now, and crying a lot, but it's good that she is using her lungs and strengthening them. They still don't know when they get to come home...it's one of those waiting game we all hate.

But we all thank you for your prayers and love sent there way! She has really appreciated all the the calls and visits it makes them stronger and feel the love that we all have for them.

We just wanted to let those of you who read Hanna's blog know, that her and her family are in need of your prayers! Her sweet little baby, Finley, was life flighted to Primary Children's hospital on the 2nd. She is struggling to pull through and her family can use all the comfort and prayers they can get right now. We love our sister and her family so much and hate seeing them in this trial. We know that the power of prayer is strong and that with prayer things can work out the way they are suppose to and they can be comforted in this process. We know they are loved by many. We love them so much and are praying for the best!!

Also, to those of you who want to send letters of comfort or anything else to them, Bonnie, will be going down to the hospital this weekend. You can drop off your letters to 5222 Denning Avenue in Iona or to Kristy Stibal. We know that letters will help them and be a great surprise to help comfort them at this time. We are so appreciative of all the calls and emails of concern for their family. When we told Hanna how everyone in her ward was calling it really touched her so much! Thank you!
